Johannes Krotz

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame.

My research develops numerical methods for kinetic and radiative transport, data assimilation, uncertainty quantification, and scientific machine learning.

I am interested in controlled approximation: combining stochastic, deterministic, reduced, and data-driven methods while keeping their accuracy, uncertainty, and computational cost transparent.
